Travelling to Suffolk is easy as East Anglia is readily accessible by land, sea and air.

Suffolk has good connections with the national rail network. There are frequent direct trains from London to Ipswich, Stowmarket amd Diss. The line from Ipswich to Lowestoft serves east Suffolk with stations at Halesworth, Darsham and Beccles. The start and finish of the Angles Way at Thetford and Great Yarmouth can be reached by train. In North East Suffolk there are now four bookable taxi / bus services available.These services are small vehicles that can pick you up and drop you off where you wish at bus fare prices.

Halesworth Pathfinder serves the Halesworth and Saints area, Tuesday to Sunday 7am - 7pm.
Telephone 01986 874479 Monday to Friday between 10am to 1pm at least 24 hours in advance to book your journey.

COASTLINK
(for bookings tel 01728 833526 (8am - 6pm )
The service operates 7 days a week, 7am - 7pm, between Darsham, Saxmundham, Leiston and Blythburgh connecting the scheduled train and bus services to the more rural communities and National Trust Dunwich, RSPB Minsmere and the English Nature at Walberswick. Please book 12 hours in advance. The service carries cycles and wheelchairs.

TOWN TRAVELS
(for bookings tel 01473 211210 9.30 - 1.30 Mon - Fri)
The service operates Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm between the towns of Framlingham and Saxmundham, south to Parham and north to Peasenhall. Please book in advance as space is limited.
